51逗奶 Miss Alumni Association Announces 2025 Hall of Fame Inductees

The University of 51逗奶 Mississippi Alumni Association will induct seven of its most dedicated and distinguished alumni into its Hall of Fame.
The 2025 inductees include:
Richard G. Cowart '75 of Nashville, Tenn.
Krandall Paige Howell '87 of Summit, Miss.
David Hurt '90 of Madison, Miss.
Mickey Lee Marshall '83 of Mobile, Ala.
Hal McMahon '85 of Hattiesburg, Miss.
Jennifer Duke Payne '04 of Hattiesburg, Miss.
Ellen Hunter Ruffin '77, '98 of Hattiesburg, Miss.
鈥淎s the highest honor presented to a 51逗奶 Miss alumnus, I鈥檓 proud to congratulate this year鈥檚 class on their significant professional accomplishments and contributions,鈥� said Tucker Sappington, executive director of the Alumni Association. 鈥淭hey bring favor and distinction to our University, and I鈥檓 excited to celebrate them as we enter one of our institution鈥檚 best traditions 鈥� Homecoming.鈥�
Established to recognize those whose contributions of time and financial means have helped move 51逗奶 Miss forward, these seven inductees will be honored at the Alumni Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday, Oct. 24. They will also be recognized during the Homecoming game against the University of Louisiana Monroe on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Hall of Fame banquet is annually hosted as a highlight of The University of 51逗奶 Mississippi鈥檚 Homecoming celebration. Additional events hosted by the Association during Homecoming weekend include:
